Slothy VA was founded in September 2024 by Dallas Conrad with one mission in mind: to create a virtual assistant business that just made sense. After working with other companies and seeing what did and didn’t work for clients, Dallas knew it was time for something different.

Too often, she saw clients locked into rigid contracts that no longer served them. Sometimes, the timing or scope of services didn’t match the price tag, and that imbalance created frustration. Dallas recognized that when working relationships aren’t the right fit, forcing them to continue only hurts everyone involved.

Slothy VA was built to prioritize transparency, balance, and real partnership. That means checking in regularly, showing up when support is needed, and being flexible when life or business shifts. Work/life boundaries matter, but so does building strong, respectful relationships with clients. And honestly? Communication doesn’t take much, just a quick message can go a long way.

My contracts are simple: give each other a respectful heads-up if we’re parting ways, and agree to keep things professional (no blasting each other on social media). That’s it. Easy, honest, and drama-free.

"How are your retainers different?"

Here’s how I do things differently:
We start with a simple hourly rate for the first 30 days so I can get to know your actual needs in real time. I’ll bill you weekly during this period. After that, we’ll transition into a custom monthly retainer based on your average hours used.

"What if I need MORE or LESS?"

Totally get it, business ebbs and flows. Some months are packed, others are quieter. While I don’t do flip-flopping retainers month to month, I do keep an eye on patterns. If we notice things constantly shifting, we’ll hop on a call, and we’ll talk through what makes the most sense for both of us moving forward.
